Global Sports Brand Puma has teamed up with Palmeira d'Oeste S.E. Palmeiras Se Palmeiras to launch new home and away jerseys for the 2020 season. Wearing the shirt, accompanied by a unique and symbolic cheering gesture, highlights the history and diversity of Brazil's most successful club. Inspired by the early illustrations in the brochure for the new shirts, Puma's international design team created two unique designs for the S.E. Palmeiras, one for the home and the other for the away team, the design references elements of the club and historical literature.
First team players William (William), Matthias, Holy Roman Emperor Franck Béria (Mat as VI a), Gabriel Baudouin Charles Marie Véronne (Gabriel Veron) and Gustavo Gómez (Gustavo Gómez), women's players Alex Curran Chaville, Agostina and Juliana were all involved in the release. Rapper Rincón, Puerto Rico SAPI NCIA, who narrates the film, also mentions the club's "idol forever", Academy. Puma's designs for the new jerseys and a series of promotions are designed to highlight the club's more than 105 years of history, and the S.E. Palmeiras story resonates across the country. Immigrants to the new world with dreams and hopes have become one of Brazil's biggest fans. The manifesto highlights the reasons for the Brazilian-based Italian immigrants to create the club, which over time has grown into a diverse club integrated into the local culture.
For the first time in its history, the Puma design team, which has completed the 2019-20 season for the Italian national team, has designed the club's new home kit in traditional green. The prints highlight the club's early "p" badges and are based on illustrations of travel documents received by Italian immigrants on their way to Sao Paulo in the early 20th century. The printed pattern extends from the front of the shirt to the sleeves, and on the chest are the three-dimensional trademark of the Puma and the club emblem, which is topped by a Red Star representing the team's 1951 World Championship. The back of the collar highlights the Italian flag tricolor and the Italian word "Avanti", with a green stripe across the shoulders for a perfect look. Functional, the new shirt uses Puma's tried-and-true dryCELL technology to allow moisture and sweat to be absorbed into the outer layer of the garment, keeping the skin comfortably dry even during strenuous exercise, contributing to better stadium performance.
The club's new away kit, which has a traditional white tone, is distinguished from the home kit by another exclusive design with subtle embossing and a Green Line on the cuff. In detail, like the home shirt, the away shirt is adorned with a three-dimensional trademark of Puma, the club emblem and the Red Star above it, the back of the shirt highlights the Italian flag in three colors and the Italian word "Avanti".
"The S.E. Palmeiras has a rich history, working with Puma, and we celebrate our trajectory with new jerseys, " said S.E. Palmeiras President Maur Galiotte. "We are a family of over 16 million members worldwide, born in the hands of Italian immigrants and growing to become Brazil's greatest champion, " said Fabio Cardo, Puma's director of marketing. "Puma's series of campaigns is designed to highlight the origins of the S.E. Palmeiras and to explore deeper historical values, " Puma said, "This is the second year of our partnership and it has been positive for everyone and everything we hoped for has come true. Providing product support to a club with such a rich history gives us the opportunity to create something that everyone can be proud of in addition to professionalism and fashion trends."
